Stevenson Impresses, Chavez , Jr.......Wins

Adonis Stevenson TKO7 Tavoris Cloud

Impressive win for the WBC light heavyweight champion, proving his one punch KO over Chad Dawson was no fluke. He showed he can do more than just punch as he began picking Cloud apart from the opening bell.

Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. WU10 Brian Vera

A fun fight with a less than popular decision for Chavez, whose lack of dedication is obviously catching up to him as he is regressing with each fight, rather than progressing, all the while moving up in weight. While I saw the fight 96-94 for Vera, a case could be made for a draw or a similar score in favor of Chavez, however the scorecards of 97-93 (Marty Denkin) and a ludicrous 98-92 (Gwen Adair) make you wonder if judges nowadays are trained properly or just inept.
